The 8-2 Spartans Bowl Outlook could still be rosey. With one conference loss to OSU, MSU is hoping for a win from interstate rival U of M over the hated buckeyes to make things interested in the race for the rose bowl. OSU may also end up in the national championship game, allowing the Spartans to replace them in the rose bowl.
